Abstract:

The objective of this paper is to provide a survey of a novel technology concept for tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C) systems that enable the simultaneous downlink of pseudo-noise (PN) ranging with filtered high-order modulations (HoMs).It reviews the recent theoretical studies and hardware (HW) prototyping activities within a unified framework, discusses open research directions, and paves the way for the adoption of this technology in future spacecraft missions.
